Hi, I'm Leigha, founder of The Prospect, a Dog Groomery.
I've been grooming dogs for more than 16 years, and one thing I've learned over the years is that no two dogs—and no two families—are exactly alike. Every pet has their own personality, routine, challenges, and needs. That's what I love most about this profession.
Throughout my career, I've had the privilege of working with thousands of dogs, from first-time puppies learning the grooming process to senior pets who need a little extra patience and understanding. Those experiences have shaped the way I approach grooming today: with compassion, honesty, and a commitment to doing what's best for the dog in front of me.
The Prospect was created to be the kind of salon I always wished existed—a place where pets are treated with respect, owners feel informed and supported, and grooming is viewed as an important part of a dog's overall health and well-being. I believe in realistic grooming plans, open communication, and helping owners understand how to keep their dogs comfortable and looking their best between appointments.
Whether your dog visits for a simple bath, routine maintenance, or a full groom, my goal is always the same: to provide a positive experience built on trust, consistency, and genuine care.

At The Prospect, we believe long and or curly coats deserve thoughtful, meticulous care. Dogs maintained in coats approximately one inch or longer generally require additional brushing, combing, and finishing time to keep their coats healthy and maintained. Additional coat care fees will apply based on the individual needs of the coat.

HOW IT WORKS
Reserve Members pay one monthly membership rate based on size and coat type. This membership includes ongoing bath and brush maintenance visits throughout the month at no additional cost.
Visits are available by appointment and may be scheduled as needed for coat upkeep, cleanliness, and routine maintenance.
Membership includes priority scheduling access; however, appointments remain subject to availability and advance booking is strongly encouraged.Â
The Reserve is designed to maintain healthy coats, consistent grooming routines, and a clean, comfortable dog between haircut appointments.
HAIRCUT UPGRADES
When your dog is ready for a full groom, members receive preferred upgrade pricing.
Haircut upgrades include full body grooming, styling, and finishing work.
Why the reserve works
Regular bathing and maintenance reduces matting, shortens appointment times, and keeps your dog on a consistent grooming schedule. Dogs on a maintenance plan are more comfortable, safer to groom, and achieve better results over time.
